Police Chief

Michael Kramm currently serves as the Chief of Police for the City of League City. 

He is responsible for the administration and management of day-to-day law enforcement affairs; and the recruitment, hiring and supervision of staff.

 Chief Kramm began his career with the League City Police Department in 1993. Chief Kramm's experience includes:

  • Patrol Officer
  • Motorcycle Officer
  • Field Training Officer
  • Field Training Coordinator and Administrator
  • Instructor
  • Special Operations Division Commander
  • SWAT Tactical Team Member

He served in the United States Navy from 1988 until 1992.  

Kramm holds a TCLEOSE Master Police Officer license, and is certified as an Accident Re-constructionist, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Emergency Driving Instructor, and Crisis Negotiator.

He graduated from LeTourneau University with a Business Administration Bachelor Degree in 2003, and he completed his MBA at the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2012.

Chief Kramm is also an adjunct instructor for the ALERRT Center and Texas State University in San Marcos.
